The Legislative Network The Division Legislative Network serves as a resource-sharing forum for Orange County city government affairs staff (or the City Manager's designated staff member). The network provides a venue for intra-city interaction, discussion and engagement on varying approaches to municipal management and the implementation of legislative policy. The network provides a forum for City professionals to discuss current and pending federal and state legislation and the ways in which these affect cities on the ground. Partner and related agencies are also invited to participate, such as transportation and water agencies. The network may also act as a sort of technical advisory group for the Division’s staff, Advocacy Committee, and Board of Directors. The network meets monthly during the legislative session. Reports on the network's activities are given on a regular basis to both the Division Board of Directors and the state League of California Cities.
