Mr. Amante is active as a lawyer, businessman and elected public official. He is the Mayor of the City of Tustin. He is also a Member of the Board of Directors of the Orange County Transportation Authority. Mayor Amante also serves as a Member of the Newport Bay Watershed Executive Committee, a Member of the County of Orange's Growth Management Area Committee, a Member of the State of California League of Cities Revenue and Taxation Policy Committee.

He has served as an officer and director of several other civic, service and non-profit organizations and has spoken before scores of groups and organizations on a wide range of topics over the years.
