Gail Reavis, Council Member, City of Mission Viejo |
Large City Representative

Gail Reavis was first elected to the Mission Viejo city council in 2000 and re-elected in 2004. She has served as Mayor in 2004 and 2007. In 2006, Gail was elected to the Orange County Waste Management Commission. While serving on the Board, she was successful in bringing a Safe Needle Recycling program to the City of Mission Viejo and leading the way for other cities to provide their residents with safe needle disposals.
In 2008, Gail was elected to the Southern California Association of Governments/Transportation and Communication Committee. Her desire to work in transportation is due mainly to her involvement fighting an airport, work on the Transportation Corridor Agency, and Measure M. Plus, a strong desire to serve on the OCTA led her to serve on the Citizens Advisory Committee.
With the guiding hand of God, Gail hopes to serve one more term on the City Council of Mission Viejo before term limits claim her. During this time, Gail will continue to be an outspoken critic of unjust politicians, and fight for the rights of all citizens.
Thank you for allowing me to serve you on the League of Cities. |
