Division Appointments

The Division makes a number of appointments to local County agencies that require elected city officials to be a part of their leadership.  The Division also holds public meetings to appoint the members of its governing board of directors.

Appointments will be made to the Division Board of Directors, the Orange County Emergency Medical Care Committee and the OC Housing & Community Development Commission.

City Selection Appointments

The City Selection Committee of Orange County is not a subset of the Division, but is a state mandated committee with its own set of County appointments that are different from Division appointments.  The City Selection Committee is a subset of the County of Orange, and is a committee comprised of city Mayors only.  Appointees of the committee may, however, be mayors or council members, depending on specifications.
